OMG IT IS MY BOOK BIRTHDAY!!! GIVE ME ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE AND ALL OF THE WINE BUT NOT TOGETHER BECAUSE THAT’S NOT RIGHT!!!

*runs in circles and falls down*

I have no idea what to do with myself today except to sit here with the print copy of the book and pet the pretty cover art by Alice Teeple.

It is probably a very good thing that I had work today or I’d have been running around the house making Charlie the dog crazy by denying him treats every few seconds and giving all of the aforementioned treats to the bird instead. (Not that they eat the same treats, but if you give the Mae the parrot an apple, whether or not Charlie likes apple, he will suddenly want the apple.)

I have posted the link before, but I would be remiss in my duties  if I didn’t welcome my book into the world with some acknowledgement, and perhaps a song…
