Congrats on the interview! I loved reading your answers. I’m the same way in my reading – I read widely across many genres and let all those different styles influence my work, combining different elements into one. The advice I hear all the time is to study one single genre deeply, but there are so many great books out there, I refuse to ignore them! 🙂 My favorite books to read tend to be the genre-benders anyway. Glad to find someone else with the same mindset!
