Hey everyone!

This is just a reminder that Aliens in the Soda Machine and Other Strange Tales is currently available through Kindle Unlimited over at Amazon as a free read. July 29 is when that changes, after which point it will be available via Smashwords and their channels.

It’s kind of funny – this was always the plan, though it comes just after the latest freakout about Amazon. Which I posted about late last night. (For a take that is different than mine, check out Emma Leigh’s blog. )

Hey everyone! Last day to get Aliens in the Soda Machine and Other Strange Tales at a discounted price on kindle. (2.99, to be precise.)

As for Memorial Day, thank you to all who have served.

We are getting to the end of May, which means that we are almost at the end of the first month of the digital release of Aliens in the Soda Machine and Other Strange Tales. Thanks to everyone who stuck around on all the various social media platforms while I shouted about the most recent release in Reggie-land.

OMG IT IS MY BOOK BIRTHDAY!!! GIVE ME ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE AND ALL OF THE WINE BUT NOT TOGETHER BECAUSE THAT’S NOT RIGHT!!!

*runs in circles and falls down*

I have no idea what to do with myself today except to sit here with the print copy of the book and pet the pretty cover art by Alice Teeple.

It is probably a very good thing that I had work today or I’d have been running around the house making Charlie the dog crazy by denying him treats every few seconds and giving all of the aforementioned treats to the bird instead. (Not that they eat the same treats, but if you give the Mae the parrot an apple, whether or not Charlie likes apple, he will suddenly want the apple.)

I have posted the link before, but I would be remiss in my duties  if I didn’t welcome my book into the world with some acknowledgement, and perhaps a song…

Let’s Make A Book Trailer… with Aliens!

Okay, so last night, I revealed the Trevor Strong Book trailer song .

I am still playing it on repeat and squee-pantsing through my day, but I have calmed down enough to come at you with a proposal… LET US HARNESS THE UNTOLD POWERS OF THE INTERNET AND MAKE A BOOK TRAILER TOGETHER AND WE SHALL RULE THE BOOK TRAILER MAKING WORLD!!!!

Um, or something…

Anyway, the idea is, you send me your alien themed still shots (or brief video) and I put them to use in the book trailer along side that glorious song (with credit, unless stated otherwise.)
